How We Sequence Medical Aesthetic Services for Best Results
Best medical aesthetic services Orlando outcomes come from sequencing — not from stacking everything onto a single session. At Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics, we approach each patient with a multi-month plan that orders treatments by tissue dependency, healing windows, and budget realities.
For most patients combining multiple services, the sequence runs: assessment and skin preparation (1-2 facials to establish baseline barrier health) → foundation work (any needed scar revision, chemical peels for tone correction, microneedling for texture) → structural treatments (paramedical tattoo work, body contouring, weight loss support) → maintenance and refinement (BB Glow, LED therapy, regular facials).
This sequencing matters because some treatments require healed skin to work properly. Paramedical tattoo work on healed skin produces dramatically better pigment retention than on actively-inflamed skin. Body contouring on hydrated, well-nourished skin produces tighter retraction than on neglected skin. The 2-week skin prep ahead of major work isn’t cosmetic — it changes outcomes.
Who Each Medical Aesthetic Service Suits Best
Paramedical tattoo work (areola color restoration, scar camouflage, stretch mark camouflage) is for patients with mature stable scars or hypopigmentation — typically 12+ months post-injury or post-procedure. Best for: breast cancer survivors, surgical scar patients, mature stretch marks. See our paramedical restoration page for specifics.
Esthetician services (medical facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, LED therapy, BB Glow) are for patients addressing skin tone, texture, fine lines, and acne. Best for: skin maintenance, anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, breakouts. See our esthetician services page for the menu.
Body Goals services (cavitation, lipo laser, HIFEM, shockwave, RF) are for patients seeking non-invasive body contouring — fat reduction, muscle definition, skin tightening, cellulite improvement. Best for: post-pregnancy recovery, persistent areas resistant to diet and exercise, surgery alternatives. See Body Goals.
Massage therapy covers therapeutic, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, prenatal, and post-surgical recovery work. Best for: post-procedure healing support, chronic muscular issues, wellness maintenance. See massage therapy.
Medical weight loss programs (semaglutide, comprehensive metabolic support) are for patients with BMI 27+ who haven’t responded to lifestyle alone. Best for: post-pregnancy patients, perimenopausal weight gain, metabolic syndrome.
Combining Multiple Medical Aesthetic Services
Many of our patients combine 2-3 service categories in a coordinated plan. The combinations that produce the best outcomes:
Post-mastectomy patients: Oncology-safe facials during treatment, lymphatic drainage massage post-reconstruction, 3D areola color restoration at 6-12 months post-final-surgery, ongoing maintenance facials. Total timeline: 12-18 months from start of plan to finished result.
Post-pregnancy body recovery: Lymphatic drainage massage starting 6 weeks post-delivery, body contouring (cavitation or lipo laser) starting 3 months post-delivery, stretch mark camouflage planning at 12 months post-delivery (after weight stabilizes). Total timeline: 12-18 months.
Comprehensive anti-aging: Medical facials monthly, collagen induction therapy quarterly, BB Glow semi-annually, RF skin tightening as needed. Ongoing maintenance with quarterly reassessment.
Significant weight loss patients: Medical weight loss with semaglutide alongside skin tightening protocols (RF, HIFEM where appropriate), then stretch mark or surgical scar camouflage once weight stabilizes for 3+ months. Total timeline: 9-15 months depending on weight loss magnitude.
The Healing Skin Difference Across All Services
What distinguishes the best medical aesthetic services Orlando offers, in our opinion, isn’t the modalities themselves — most clinics offer similar equipment. The difference is the clinical eye and the willingness to say no when a treatment isn’t right for you.
Dr. Cecilia Rusnak has 30+ years of clinical and aesthetic practice and has trained practitioners across the U.S. through Dr. Rusnak Academy. That clinical depth shows up in how we screen for contraindications, how we coordinate with your physicians on complex cases, how we sequence treatments, and how we set realistic expectations.
We turn down patients who aren’t good candidates for specific treatments — and refer them to alternatives that will serve them better. That practice protects both your outcomes and our reputation. See The Healing Skin Method for more on our clinical philosophy.
Pricing and Consultation Process
Pricing for medical aesthetic services varies significantly by treatment, scope, and number of sessions needed. Single esthetician services start around $75-200 per session. Paramedical tattoo work runs $400-3,500 depending on coverage area. Body contouring packages start around $1,500. Comprehensive plans combining multiple service categories typically run $3,000-8,000 over a 12-month period.
Every plan starts with a consultation. The consultation is included with your first treatment — we don’t charge separately if you book. During consultation we assess your goals, review medical history, examine the relevant tissue, and recommend a phased plan with realistic costs and timeline.
We accept HSA/FSA for medically-indicated services and offer financing through Cherry, Klarna, Affirm, and CareCredit for plans over $500. Most patients use a combination — direct pay for maintenance, financing for major work.
Frequently Asked Medical Aesthetic Services Questions
Can I book multiple services on the same day? Sometimes yes (a facial plus massage, for example), and sometimes no (chemical peel plus aggressive body work isn’t advisable). We sequence within sessions just like we sequence across the plan.
What if I’m not sure which service is right for me? Book a consultation. We screen you against multiple service categories and recommend the right starting point. Many patients arrive thinking they need one thing and leave with a different (often more effective) plan.
Do you treat men? Yes. Approximately 15% of our patient base is men, primarily for scar camouflage, body contouring, and weight loss support.
How do you coordinate with my other providers? For oncology patients, we communicate directly with your oncology team. For post-surgical patients, we coordinate with your surgeon. For complex medical patients, we work with your primary care or specialist. We share treatment plans and notes as appropriate.
What’s your booking cancellation policy? 48-hour cancellation notice for most appointments. Late cancellations or no-shows incur a fee that goes toward your next session if rebooked within 30 days.
