Paramedical tattoo training Las Vegas is offered as a traveling class from Dr. Rusnak Academy. The academy is founded by Dr. Cecilia Rusnak, Dr. Cecilia Rusnak PhD, LME, DAc, Licensed Medical Esthetician and Florida-licensed Acupuncture Physician, with 32 years in aesthetics and integrative medicine. For four days in early December, Dr. Cecilia Rusnak brings her paramedical tattoo curriculum to Las Vegas, the only West Coast stop on the 2026 tour. Students travel here from California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and New Mexico to train without crossing the country.

Why Las Vegas
A West Coast destination that travels well.
Most paramedical certification programs require students from the West Coast to fly to Orlando, New York, or Houston, three time zones from home, often with weather complications. The Las Vegas date exists to remove that friction.
Harry Reid International (LAS) has nonstop service from nearly every major Western city. McCarran shuttle and rideshare connect to Strip-adjacent hotels in under 15 minutes. December is shoulder season, hotel rates drop, restaurants take reservations, and the Strip is decorated for the holidays without being overwhelming. For practitioners traveling from Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver, or the Pacific Northwest, Vegas is the closest stop on the tour.
Who Trains Here
Practitioners ready to add a clinical specialty.
The Las Vegas class draws from a specific population: estheticians, nurses, PMU artists, tattoo artists, and physician extenders who already work with skin, and want to add paramedical procedures (areola restoration, scar camouflage, stretch mark camouflage, inkless scar revision) to their clinical offering.
Paramedical work commands higher rates than cosmetic procedures and serves a patient population, breast reconstruction recipients, burn survivors, surgical scar patients, that is underserved across most regional markets. Western states with rapidly growing medical aesthetics markets (Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Washington) have a particularly low ratio of trained paramedical practitioners per capita. The clinical opportunity is real.
