Paramedical Tattoo Training Orlando.

Paramedical tattoo training Orlando is offered by Dr. Rusnak Academy at the Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics clinic in Kissimmee, just south of Orlando. Founded by Dr. Cecilia Rusnak, a doctor with over 30 years of clinical and aesthetic experience, the academy delivers master-level paramedical tattoo certification — including 3D Areola Color Restoration technique, scar camouflage, and stretch mark work. Read the academy mission.

For four sessions across 2026 — June, August, November, and into January 2027 — Dr. Cecilia Rusnak teaches paramedical tattoo certification at her clinical home: Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in Kissimmee. This is the only location on the tour where students train inside the practice itself, with access to the operations of a working paramedical aesthetics clinic.

Why Orlando

Where the work actually lives.

Most paramedical certification programs travel to their students. The Orlando dates do the opposite. Students travel to Kissimmee — to the clinic where Dr. Cecilia treats patients five days a week — and train inside an operating paramedical practice rather than a rented hotel ballroom.

The clinical environment matters. Students see the intake forms, the pigment storage, the sterilization workflow, the scheduling cadence, and the room layout of a practice that does this work full-time. Orlando International Airport (MCO) has direct service from nearly every U.S. metro and is twenty minutes from the clinic. For East Coast and Southeast practitioners, Orlando is the closest tour stop. For everyone else, it’s the version of the training that comes with the most contextual learning.

Who Trains in Orlando

Built for working practitioners who want to see the practice.

The Orlando cohorts draw a particular kind of student: someone who has already decided paramedical tattooing is the direction they want to take their career, and who wants to spend the training inside a fully-operating clinic to see how it’s actually done. Estheticians, nurses, PMU artists, tattoo artists, and physician extenders from across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Caribbean train here.

Paramedical work serves an underserved patient population — breast reconstruction recipients, burn survivors, surgical scar patients, mothers post-pregnancy — and pays accordingly. Florida’s aging and growing population makes the regional opportunity particularly strong. Students from Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, Savannah, and the Gulf Coast often choose Orlando as their training base.

Travel & Logistics

How to plan your Orlando training.

Airport. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the primary hub. Nonstop service from every major U.S. metro and most international gateways. The clinic in Kissimmee is approximately 20 minutes from MCO — under $40 by rideshare.

Lodging. Kissimmee and the I-Drive corridor offer extensive lodging at every price point. For class proximity, look for hotels in Kissimmee (Celebration, Champions Gate) or south Orlando — typical class-week rates run $90–$180/night outside theme park peak weeks. For students combining training with a family trip, Disney-area resorts are 15–20 minutes from the clinic.

State Licensing. Tattoo and paramedical tattoo licensing requirements vary by state. Each student is responsible for confirming their own state requirements with their local health department.
