What This Is

A non-injectable wrinkle technique, taught by the physician who developed it.

Powder Botox is Dr. Cecilia Rusnak’s protocol for softening common wrinkle areas — crow’s feet, the elevens, and forehead lines — using cosmetic-grade hyaluronic acid powder applied through microneedling. She created this course to teach the technique exactly as she performs it in clinic. It is not a trend class. It is the method itself.

Two delivery methods are taught — application via tattoo machine and application via microneedling pen — so graduates can perform the protocol within whichever scope of practice their license permits. Results in clinical practice typically last three to six months depending on patient and treatment plan.

Upcoming Class

August 15, 2026. Orlando.

The next Powder Botox Masterclass is scheduled for August 15, 2026 in Orlando, Florida — at Dr. Cecilia Rusnak’s clinic in Kissimmee. Class hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a lunch break midday. Tuition is $2,350 with everything included.

Cohorts are small — applications are reviewed individually to ensure each student has the right background to perform the protocol safely in their own practice. A $500 deposit reserves your seat and is applied to your tuition. A current Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certificate is required before the hands-on portion — if you don’t have one, we’ll point you to an approved course to complete beforehand. Financing through Cherry, Klarna, and Affirm is available.

Who This Masterclass Is For

For practitioners adding a non-injectable offering.

The Powder Botox Masterclass suits estheticians, PMU artists, tattoo artists, nurses, physicians and acupuncture physicians, and medical aesthetic professionals who want to add a non-injectable wrinkle treatment to their service menu. Scope of practice matters — the two delivery methods (machine and pen) are taught so practitioners can choose the one their license permits.

Practitioners take this training because they want a method developed by a working physician, not a brand-driven trend protocol. The technique is taught exactly as Dr. Cecilia performs it in clinic — same protocol, same products, same sequence.

Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Is this actually Botox?

No. Powder Botox uses cosmetic-grade hyaluronic acid powder, not botulinum toxin. The name reflects the targeted outcome — visibly softened lines — not the active ingredient. This distinction is made clear to every patient in clinic. “Powder Botox” is a descriptive nickname for the technique; it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by BOTOX® or AbbVie.

Do I need a medical license to perform this?

Scope of practice varies by state and license. The training teaches two delivery methods so practitioners can choose the one their license permits. We discuss state-specific scope in class — but each student is ultimately responsible for confirming their licensing requirements with their state board.

How long do results last for patients?

Three to six months in most clinical cases, depending on the patient and their skincare routine. The treatment can be repeated as often as the patient wants.

What’s the difference between this and other powder botox courses?

This is the original protocol from the physician who developed it. Dr. Cecilia teaches it exactly as she performs it in her own clinic — same products, same sequence, same protocol.

Can I combine this with my existing services?

Yes. Powder Botox pairs naturally with PRP, glycolic facials, microdermabrasion, and most rejuvenation services. Many graduates add it to existing facial treatment menus as a premium upsell.

Is there a deposit to enroll?

A $500 deposit reserves your seat in the cohort and is applied to your $2,350 tuition. The balance is due before class; financing through Cherry, Klarna, and Affirm is available.

Do I need a Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) certificate?

Yes. A current BBP certificate is required before the hands-on portion, because the protocol is delivered with a microneedling pen and a tattoo machine. If you don’t have one, we point you to an approved online course you can complete before class.

How do I confirm this is within my scope of practice?

Check your state’s Department of Health and your licensing board for the practice and tattoo/micropigmentation-license requirements that apply to needling devices. We teach two delivery methods so you can choose the one your license permits, but you are responsible for confirming your own scope before treating clients.

Is there an online version?

Yes — a self-paced online Powder Micro-Infusion Certification is available for practitioners who can’t attend in person, with an optional professional kit add-on. Ask us for current online enrollment details.

What is the downtime and aftercare?

Most clients have mild redness that settles within a few hours. Aftercare is simple — gentle cleansing, sun protection, and a short pause on harsh actives — and it’s all covered in class.

Who is this not for?

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, with an active skin infection or inflammatory flare in the treatment area, a known hyaluronic acid sensitivity, or certain skin conditions should be deferred. Full contraindications are reviewed in the curriculum.
