3–6 session seriesKissimmee, Florida

The Procedure

Targeted heat, collagen contraction.

Dr. Rusnak’s team uses medical-grade RF equipment with controlled depth and temperature monitoring. The handpiece is moved across the treatment area in sweeping passes while the skin is brought to a therapeutic temperature range and held there long enough to trigger collagen response, but not long enough to cause damage to surface skin or surrounding tissues.

Common treatment areas include the lower face, jawline, neck, and brow. Each session is 45–60 minutes. Most patients see immediate tightening from collagen contraction, with continued gradual improvement over the following three months. A series of three to six sessions delivers strongest cumulative results.

Series & Maintenance3–6 session series

Most patients see best results from a series of 3–6 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Maintenance every 6–12 months keeps the effect.

Who This Procedure Serves

For patients with mild to moderate skin laxity.

RF suits patients with early-to-moderate signs of skin laxity, softened jawline, mild neck laxity, brow heaviness, who want non-surgical firming. Most appropriate for patients who notice the beginning of laxity but aren’t yet at the point where surgical intervention would be more effective.

Not appropriate for patients with pacemakers or other electronic implants, pregnancy, recent fillers in the treatment area, or active skin conditions. Patients with very advanced laxity may be better served by surgical options, Dr. Rusnak will be direct about whether RF is the right fit.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Does it hurt?

No. Most patients describe the sensation as a comfortable warming. No numbing required. You can resume normal activity immediately afterward.

When will I see results?

Immediate tightening from collagen contraction is visible the same day, with peak immediate effect at 24–48 hours. The deeper effect, new collagen production, builds gradually over the following three months.

How long do results last?

Six to twelve months for a single session; longer when paired with a series. Maintenance every 6–12 months keeps the effect refreshed.

Can I combine RF with other treatments?

Yes, RF pairs well with microneedling/CIT, PRP, and Powder Botox. Dr. Rusnak can build a multi-treatment plan for cumulative skin firming.

Is there any downtime?

None. Mild flushing for an hour or two after treatment, then back to normal. You can apply makeup the same day.
