LED Light Therapy
LED mask treatment.
Targeted light therapy using clinical-grade LED wavelengths for inflammation, acne, healing acceleration, and skin luminosity. A gentle stand-alone treatment, and a powerful add-on to other facial protocols.

LED mask treatment uses specific wavelengths of light to trigger photobiological responses in the skin — anti-inflammatory effects, accelerated healing, antibacterial action, and collagen stimulation depending on wavelength. It’s a non-invasive, no-downtime treatment that’s effective alone or as an enhancer to other facial protocols.

The Procedure
Specific wavelengths, specific responses.
Different LED wavelengths trigger different skin responses. Red light (around 630nm) stimulates collagen and reduces inflammation. Blue light (around 415nm) has antibacterial effects, particularly against acne-causing bacteria. Near-infrared light (around 830nm) penetrates deeper for tissue repair. Dr. Rusnak’s team selects the wavelength or combination of wavelengths based on your specific concerns.
Each session is typically 20–30 minutes — you lie comfortably while the mask delivers the selected wavelength. There is no heat, no pain, and no downtime. LED is one of the most patient-friendly treatments in the clinic and pairs naturally with most other services (post-microneedling, post-microdermabrasion, post-extraction).
What to Expect
Comfortable, cumulative.
Consultation
Brief skin assessment and wavelength selection based on your concerns. Often combined with a facial or other treatment in the same appointment.
Treatment Session
Lie comfortably under the LED mask for 20–30 minutes. No heat, no discomfort. You can listen to music or simply rest. No downtime — go straight back to normal activity.
Series for Best Results
While single sessions deliver some immediate benefit, cumulative effects build across a series of 6–12 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart. Maintenance every 2–4 weeks keeps results.
Who This Procedure Serves
For patients seeking gentle, evidence-based skin support.
LED therapy suits patients with inflammation-driven concerns (rosacea, post-treatment redness, mild acne), patients seeking acceleration of healing after other procedures, and patients wanting a gentle ongoing maintenance treatment between deeper interventions.
It also serves as an excellent finishing treatment after microneedling, microdermabrasion, glycolic facials, and similar protocols — reducing post-treatment redness and accelerating the skin’s recovery and remodeling response. Safe for all Fitzpatrick types.
Frequently Asked
Questions, answered.
Will I feel anything during treatment?
No — just a gentle warmth at most. LED is one of the most comfortable treatments we offer. Many patients use the time to rest or meditate.
How soon will I see results?
Some immediate effects (reduced redness, improved luminosity) are visible after a single session. Deeper benefits — collagen stimulation, reduction in acne, sustained inflammation control — build across a series.
Can I combine LED with other treatments?
Yes — LED pairs beautifully with virtually every other treatment we offer. Many patients add LED at the end of facials, microneedling, or PRP sessions to amplify and soothe.
Is there any downtime?
None. You can return to normal activity, apply makeup, and continue your day immediately.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Yes — LED is among the most gentle and well-tolerated treatments available. Suitable for sensitive skin, rosacea, and post-treatment recovery.
