Founder · Master Trainer
Dr. Cecilia Rusnak.
LME, AP, DAc. Founder of Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Rusnak Academy, AcuMedGroup, and Dr. Rusnak Wellness. A clinician with three decades in beauty, health, and paramedical aesthetics — and the practitioner students travel across the country to train with.

The Practice
Three decades in beauty, health, and paramedical aesthetics.
Dr. Cecilia Rusnak has spent over thirty years in the makeup, beauty, and health industries — a career that began in special effects and facial prosthetics for Off-Broadway productions and evolved through aesthetics, paramedical skincare, and acupuncture into what it is today: a clinical practice focused on restoring the body after surgery, injury, and life.
Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in Kissimmee is one of two clinics she owns and operates. Patients come for Areola Color Restoration (3D areola technique) restoration after mastectomy, paramedical scar camouflage, stretch mark revision, and Advanced ISR inkless work. Practitioners come from across the country to train with her. The two activities are inseparable: the clinical work informs the curriculum, and the curriculum is shaped by what actually works in practice.
“
Restoring skin is an act of healing — not just aesthetics.
— Dr. Cecilia Rusnak
The Method
Not cosmetic. Clinical.
The work Dr. Rusnak does is taught as medicine, not as beauty. Paramedical tattooing — areola restoration, scar camouflage, stretch mark camouflage, inkless skin revision — is restorative work performed for patients whose bodies have been changed by mastectomy, surgery, burn, trauma, or pregnancy. The goal is not enhancement. The goal is for the patient to look in a mirror and see themselves again.
That orientation shapes everything. Consultations are private and unhurried. Sessions are scheduled to give the skin time to heal between passes. Documentation is prepared with the same rigor as any other medical procedure — Dr. Rusnak’s background in CPT coding and medical necessity letters means patients receive the paperwork they need to pursue insurance reimbursement under the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act. Discretion is treated as a clinical requirement, not a courtesy.
Dr. Rusnak collaborates regularly with plastic surgeons and cancer foundations, which is where many of her patients are referred from. The relationship is reciprocal — surgeons trust this work because it’s done the way medicine is done.

Beyond the Clinic
Teacher. Founder. Practitioner.
Most weeks of the year, Dr. Rusnak is in clinic with patients. Several weeks a year, she’s teaching — leading paramedical tattoo certification cohorts in Orlando, New York, Houston, and Las Vegas, plus the 3D Areola Masterclass that follows each session. The training calendar is built around the clinic, not the other way around.
Outside Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics, Dr. Rusnak operates AcuMedGroup — her acupuncture practice and VA Community Care affiliation — and partners on Dr. Rusnak Wellness, a line of clinically-formulated aftercare and skincare products developed alongside her clinical work. Each of these grew out of a need her patients had that the market wasn’t serving.
